What Projects Have We Been Working on in 2024?

Over the past year, we’ve been incredibly busy working on a wide variety of custom projects. These include (to name a few) the integration of an ERP system, data analysis dashboards, integration of VoIP/SMS endpoints for easier communication, the use of blockchain technology for asset tracking, and the use of AI prompts in the CRM system. 

As demonstrated, our expertise in custom software projects is unparalleled,  and we thought that a little more in-depth analysis of some of our work might be of interest.

 

Project 1: Development of existing algorithms to assist  with lead scoring based on engagement

The aim is to improve customer insights and enable targeted marketing strategies by analysing customer engagement across multiple digital platforms, and so enhancing overall conversion rates.

The existing algorithms are limited in processing engagement metrics across real-time platforms and require manual intervention for certain lead classifications. 

We have been tasked with fully automating and optimising cross-platform engagement scoring, making it more predictive and responsive to dynamic customer behaviours. 

The development integrates real-time data from multiple platforms, including social media, email, and website analytics. This has created an adaptable, machine-learning-based system that accurately scores leads by considering nuanced engagement patterns. 

This development represents a step change in lead management compared to standard CRM systems, which often rely on simplistic engagement metrics. 

 

Project 2:  Redevelopment of a custom mobile application 

This project focused on redeveloping our clients’ mobile application using React Native, aiming to enhance usability and performance for field engineers conducting asbestos surveying jobs. 

The current mobile application lacked cross-platform compatibility and suffered from performance issues. React Native enabled better platform independence, which improved the user experience on both iOS and Android devices. 

The redeveloped mobile application has leveraged React Native’s cross-platform capabilities, allowing for a more seamless experience across devices.  This has also resulted in improved performance and faster load times, and new features, such as offline data handling, are expected to improve field operations significantly.

 

Project 3: The SurCo CRM system.  Enhancing the automated email replies with Custom AI prompts

Focusing on developing custom AI prompts to automate email replies within the Surco CRM, ensuring that responses are accurate and maintain a human-like tone. The project involves extensive A/B testing to refine the AI’s language models. 

The existing CRM systems rely on template-based responses, which lack the sophistication to handle complex or personalised queries. An AI-driven email automation system with contextual understanding is necessary to provide a more personalised and accurate customer experience. 

By utilising natural language processing (NLP) models, this project has enabled AI to generate human-like, contextually accurate email responses. A/B testing was conducted to fine-tune the results, ensuring it maintains the desired tone while improving response accuracy over time.
